About
History
In the late 1980's Paul Bridle started undertaking some research into what makes a good leader. He has always been interested in leadership and what makes people follow a leader. Through the late 1980's and early 90's Paul interviewed leaders and the people who worked for them. The more he asked and researched, the more fascinating it became to him. Now nearly two decades on, Paul still spends a good portion of his year researching successful organisations and the people who lead them.
In the beginning, Paul set up Proaction International to provide training based on the results of his research. Technology had now advanced to a point where information can be provided easier and quicker than ever before. Most importantly it allows the information to be accessible to people at a time they want it and in a way that they can digest it for themselves. Bridle Academy has now been formed to bring the learning from his ongoing research, into a format that is easy to understand. By supplying this content on the web you receive a more rounded training scheme. The VLE helps with individual support of employees, where our trainers can run a workshop for all your employees or maybe use our consultants with the senior management team to refocus and view new ways of working.
The VLE is based around the premise that people sometimes need an answer to a question quickly. For example, if you have a problem with recruitment you could go to the VLE and search for the right course, or preferably ask the question "How do I solve the recruitment problems?". The site will search for the most relevant course or modules and list them for you to view.
The training courses, workshops and consultancy we provide comes from the position of what is best for you. This means we do not believe that there is one solution that helps all companies. The courses and workshops are based around sound business principles, but deployed on an individual company basis. For more information visit our programmes page or visit our trainers page.
